Ronni G. Davidowitz, the head of Katten’s New York Private Wealth practice, and Michael O. Hartz, the co-chair of the practice in the Chicago office, were selected for Citywealth’s Leaders List of “Top 100 Private Client Lawyers.”

This year’s list featured attorneys who demonstrated tenacity, maintained relationships as trusted advisers and supported charitable cases despite the extra challenges imposed by a global pandemic, Citywealth noted.

Citywealth highlighted the pro bono work of Josh Rubenstein, national chair of the firm’s Private Wealth practice and leader of the Private Client Services group, in advising the Volunteers of Legal Service, an organization that provides pro bono service to New York City’s underserved communities, on how to run its estate planning clinics.

“The pandemic created a threat to the ability of the clinics to continue their services and Josh provided assistance to the organisation in the creation of procedures to implement remote witnessing and notarisations that complied with the governor of New York’s executive orders,” the article stated.
