Katten and four of its attorneys have been recognized in the inaugural
World Trademark Review 1000 rankings of the leading law firms and individual practitioners offering high-level advice on issues relating to trademarks.
Produced by
World Trademark Review, the world’s only independent multimedia publication dedicated exclusively to reporting on trademark issues for in-house counsel and private practitioners internationally, the
WTR 1000 is the first and only standalone ranking publication to focus exclusively on trademark practices and practitioners.
WTR researched more than 50 key jurisdictions to identify the leading practitioners and law firms in both trademark litigation as well as trademark transactional and counseling work. After three months of extensive research and interviews with top in-house counsel, they identified leading lawyers and law firms in several key geographic markets.
Katten was recognized as an industry leader in both Chicago and Washington, D.C. In addition, four Katten partners were listed in the
WTR 1000: Karen Ash (New York), Roger Furey (Washington, D.C.), Floyd Mandell (Chicago) and Peter Riebling (Washington, D.C.). Partners Jan Tamulewicz and Bret Danow in New York and Kristin Achterhof in Chicago also were recognized for their individual contributions to the firm's trademark practice.
