(LOS ANGELES) Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP is pleased to announce that the firm has been honored by the Constitutional Rights Foundation (CRF) as “Law Firm of the Year.” Katten was presented with the award at the 12th Annual Justice James A. Cobey Honors Reception in Los Angeles.
“This is an incredible honor and we truly value what has grown into a long and meaningful partnership with the Constitutional Rights Foundation,” said Gail Migdal Title, partner and head of Katten’s Entertainment and Media Litigation Practice. “Katten has always been committed to giving back to our communities and CRF has a very important mission when it comes to educating and empowering our young people.”
Katten has partnered with CRF for more than 20 years in Los Angeles, and Title has served on the Board of Directors for more than 10 years. The firm participates in CRF’s Mock Trial Program and its Expanding Horizons Internship Program, and is a contributing sponsor to many of CRF’s other programs.
CRF is a nonprofit, non-partisan education organization. It seeks to instill in our nation’s youth a deeper understanding of citizenship through values expressed in the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Over the last 46 years, it has educated thousands of young people to become active and responsible participants in our society with a variety of programs including Mock Trial and History Day, among others.
