Katten Expands Securities Litigation Practice with Addition of Helen Kim as Partner in Los Angeles Office

LOS ANGELES – Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP is pleased to announce the continued expansion of its Securities Litigation Practice with the addition of Helen B. Kim as a Los Angeles-based partner. Prior to joining Katten, Ms. Kim was a partner with Baker & Hostetler LLP.
Ms. Kim represents public and private companies, their directors, officers and principal shareholders in a wide range of complex commercial and securities litigation, including the defense of class actions, derivative suits and regulatory investigations.
Ms. Kim serves as co-editor of the ABA Litigation Section's
Securities Litigation Journal and has participated in numerous panel presentations sponsored by the American Bar Association, ALI-ABA and other organizations. She is currently President of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association and also serves as Vice President of Administration for the Korean American Coalition-Los Angeles, a not-for-profit community advocacy organization. In addition, Ms. Kim serves as Second Vice President of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles.
Ms. Kim earned her A.B. from Harvard-Radcliffe Colleges and her J.D. from Yale Law School, where she was a Note Editor of the
Yale Law Journal.
