Katten Adds Ross Pazzol as Partner in Financial Services Practice

CHICAGO – Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Ross Pazzol as a Chicago-based partner in its Financial Services Practice. Mr. Pazzol comes to the Firm after spending the last 13 years as a financial services attorney in the Chicago office of Mayer Brown LLP.

Mr. Pazzol also previously practiced at Schiff Hardin & Waite and served as an attorney with the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Market Regulation in Washington.

Mr. Pazzol concentrates his practice in futures, securities and derivatives law. He counsels financial intermediaries, investment managers and investors on transactional and regulatory matters under federal banking, commodities and securities laws, and the rules of the various commodities and securities self-regulatory organizations. His clients include depository institutions and their affiliates; broker-dealers, including government securities broker-dealers; futures commission merchants; investment advisers; commodity trading advisors; commodity pool operators; hedge funds; mutual funds; and public and private pension plans.

Mr. Pazzol earned his B.S. from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and his J.D. from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
