Katten Adds Ricardo J. Hollingsworth as New York-Based Financial Services Partner

NEW YORK – Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP is pleased to announce that Ricardo J. Hollingsworth has joined the Firm as a partner in its successful New York Financial Services Practice. Mr. Hollingsworth will add further strength and depth to Katten's respected Financial Services Practice. "I am confident that Ricardo's reputation and expertise will allow our Firm and Practice Group to continue to grow and prosper," said Fred Santo, New York Chair, Financial Services. Prior to joining Katten, Mr. Hollingsworth was a partner in the New York office of K&L Gates LLP.
Mr. Hollingsworth represents private equity and venture capital firms as well as institutional investors, including foundations, endowments, public and private pension plans and insurance companies, in connection with their fund formation and investment activity. He also has extensive experience in private equity and venture capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate partnering transactions, strategic investments, private placements and corporate finance, including secured and unsecured debt financing transactions.
Before entering law school, Mr. Hollingsworth served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force for six years (from 1985 to 1991). Ricardo received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1994, and then clerked for the Honorable Joseph W. Hatchett of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit from 1994 to 1995. He received a B.A. from the University of Cincinnati in 1985.
