Kathy P. Josephson concentrates her practice in litigation matters, including healthcare fraud and complex commercial cases. She also counsels insurers on best claims handling practices and litigation strategies designed to attack internal and external fraud. In that regard, she has significant experience working with insurers to investigate healthcare fraud. Ms. Josephson has successfully represented insurers in several lengthy, federal jury trials involving claims for fraud, conspiracy, RICO, unjust enrichment, and deceptive and unfair trade practices against providers.
Ms. Josephson earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University in 1999 and her Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University School of Law in 2002, where she was an editor of the Northwestern University Law Review. She is admitted to practice in Illinois.
