Kathy L. Kottos concentrates her practice in litigation matters, including health care fraud and complex commercial disputes. She has significant experience working with insurers to investigate health care fraud.
Ms. Kottos earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, from DePaul University in 2003. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from The John Marshall Law School in 2007. While in law school, Ms. Kottos served as lead articles editor of the John Marshall Law Review. She also served as a judicial intern for the Illinois Appellate Court.
Ms. Kottos is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
