Kamilah K. Smith

Kamilah K. Smith concentrates her practice in a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity financings, securities law compliance, corporate governance and compliance and other general corporate matters. In addition, Ms. Smith has provided counsel on the maintenance of corporate records and has advised clients on the formation, governance and compliance of nonprofit entities.

Ms. Smith is a member of the American Bar Association, the Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, and serves on the board of directors and as the Young Lawyers Committee Co-Chair of the John M. Langston Bar Association.

Ms. Smith earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Clark Atlanta University in 2004 and her Juris Doctor from the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law in 2007. She is admitted to practice in California (2007).
