Qualifications and Career Profile
Joseph Iskowitz is a member of the firm’s Financial Services Practice. Mr. Iskowitz focuses his practice on the formation and ongoing representation of domestic and offshore private investments pools such as private equity and hedge funds, as well as the representation of private equity and hedge fund investors. Mr. Iskowitz’s practice includes structuring partnership arrangements among principals of investment managers, as well as structuring joint venture arrangements among multiple investment managers, including seeding arrangements. Mr. Iskowitz also represents third-party marketers of private investment pools.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Iskowitz was an associate attorney at White and Case and a law clerk to the honorable Judge Percy Anderson.
Education and Bar Admissions
Mr. Iskowitz earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Ner Israel Rabbinical College in 1997 and his Juris Doctor degree from Columbia Law School in 2001, where he was a Stone Scholar. He is admitted to practice in New York.
