Jonathan D. Weiner

Jonathan Weiner concentrates his practice in securities, transactional and general corporate matters. Mr. Weiner has represented investors and issuers in public and private financings (including PIPEs), tender offers, recapitalizations and going private transactions, as well as targets and acquirers in mergers and acquisitions. He also advises clients on a day-to-day basis regarding corporate governance, securities law compliance, disclosure and other general corporate matters. Mr. Weiner has counseled a wide array of businesses, ranging from start-ups to midsize and large privately held and public companies, in the financial services, heavy equipment, apparel, publishing and technology industries, among others.

Mr. Weiner regularly contributes to the firm's Corporate and Financial Weekly Digest, which features brief summaries of current legal developments of interest to business and financial services clients.

Mr. Weiner earned his BA, magna cum laude, from Colgate University where he was a member of the Omicron Delta Epsilon international economics honor society, and his JD from Emory University School of Law, where he was a member of Emory’s Moot Court Honor Society and the Order of the Barristers. He is admitted to practice in New York.
