John Krol concentrates his practice on the representation of lenders and borrowers in connection with cash flow and asset-based credit facilities covering a variety of lending products including secured and unsecured senior and mezzanine loans, debtor-in-possession financing and second lien financing. Mr. Krol regularly counsels clients in all aspects of the loan transaction, including the structuring of credit facilities, negotiating loan documents, handling intercreditor and subordination issues, restructuring troubled credits and enforcing rights and remedies. Mr. Krol has represented lenders such as CapitalSource Finance LLC, Dymas Funding Company, LLC, General Electric Capital Corporation, Golub Capital Incorporated, Orchard First Source Capital, Inc. and Prairie Capital in commercial loan transactions.
In 1994, Mr. Krol graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance with departmental distinction. In 1997, he received his Juris Doctor degree from DePaul University College of Law, where he was made a member of The Order of the Coif.
