Jennifer Karlin's practice focuses on white collar criminal defense and appellate litigation. Her work has included international trade, antitrust and health care enforcement actions. Additionally, Ms. Karlin focuses on tax, securities and corporate issues. She has particular experience in the formation of both domestic and international nonprofit organizations.

Ms. Karlin received her B.A. from the University of Maryland at College Park and her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. At Georgetown she concentrated her work in the areas of corporations, tax and securities. Ms. Karlin previously worked as a research assistant on international tax issues, with a focus on transfer pricing. She also has worked in the Enforcement Division of the Securities and Exchange Commission, both in its Washington, D.C., headquarters and in its Philadelphia regional office, where she devoted the majority of her time to insider trading issues. Ms. Karlin is admitted to practice in California and the District of Columbia, and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
