Jennifer C. Ryan

Jennifer C. Ryan concentrates her practice in litigation and dispute resolution with an emphasis on real estate litigation, complex business litigation, and securities and derivative actions. Ms. Ryan's experience includes a broad range of matters in which she has handled multiple phases of the litigation process encompassing all aspects of dispute resolution, including mediation, arbitration and trial. Similarly, she has worked on behalf of a variety of clients, including individual officers and directors, limited liability companies, institutional lenders, and other large public companies.

In addition to her legal experience, Ms. Ryan serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Domestic Violence Legal Clinic, a non-profit organization that provides legal services to low income victims of domestic violence, and she is the former chair of Katten’s Associates Committee.

Ms. Ryan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Northern Illinois University in 1997 and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois in 2001. That same year, she also received her Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law. She is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
