Qualifications and Career Profile
Jane Cavanaugh concentrates her practice in corporate law, with a focus on financial transactions and aviation law, including financing, sales, purchases and leasing of commercial and private aircraft. She represents airlines, aircraft leasing companies and a large commercial aircraft manufacturer in complex aircraft financing transactions including cross-border sale-leasebacks, leveraged leases and operating leases, as well as FAA aircraft registration matters and corporate organizational matters. She also represents individuals and businesses in private and corporate jet transactions.

Ms. Cavanaugh is admitted to the bars of Virginia and the District of Columbia. She is a member of the American Bar Association.
Education
Ms. Cavanaugh earned her undergraduate degree (B.A., 1981) from Western Maryland College, and her law degree (J.D., 1995) from University of New Mexico School of Law, where she was on the editorial staff of the New Mexico Law Review. Ms. Cavanaugh also has a Master of Administrative Science (M.A.S., 1989) degree from Johns Hopkins University.
