James N. Truitt concentrates his practice in bankruptcy and creditors' rights matters, representing secured lenders and other creditors in transactional and litigation matters concerning bankruptcy and insolvency law. Mr. Truitt has significant experience in connection with Chapter 11 reorganizations, liquidations, out-of-court workouts, prepackaged bankruptcies, DIP financing agreements and ISDA litigation. Mr. Truitt's work has involved the representation of clients in a variety of fields, including residential and commercial real estate, hotels and casinos, luxury resort developments and health care.

Mr. Truitt received his B.A. from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2006 and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2009. He is admitted to practice in New York (2010).
