Ira J. Swidler

Ira J. Swidler concentrates his practice in the representation of commercial, hotel and residential developers, real estate funds, insurance companies, commercial banks, finance companies and other institutional investors and lenders in connection with real estate development, acquisitions and dispositions, venture formation, office leasing and conventional, construction, securitized and mezzanine financing.

Mr. Swidler has extensive experience in the development and financing of multi-owner, mixed-use projects and mortgage financing to tenant-in-common borrowers.

Mr. Swidler has been listed in Illinois Super Lawyers (2005–2006, 2008–2012). He graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting in 1976 and received his law degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois in 1979.
