Intellectual Property Litigation

Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP’s nationwide Intellectual Property Litigation Practice is comprised of experienced trial counsel with the expertise necessary to skillfully and efficiently handle a wide variety of intellectual property claims, including patent, trademark, service mark, trade name, trade dress, domain name, copyright infringement, trade secret misappropriation, false advertising and unfair competition cases of all types. Much of this litigation involves cutting-edge issues of intellectual property law, such as e-commerce patent issues, the Federal Anti-Dilution statute, and the exploitation of trade dress after the expiration of a utility patent. Several of our lawyers have been lead trial counsel on some of the most significant intellectual property cases in the last decade. We have successfully defended and prosecuted claims in federal and state courts throughout the United States, as well as before the International Trade Commission and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. In addition, our attorneys are experienced and skilled in various forms of alternative dispute resolution, and are members of national mediation boards and federal mediation panels affiliated with federal district courts.
