Airfinance Journal Names Katten in Aerospace Deal of the Year

The Aviation Practice earned high honors for its work with Embraer, one of the largest aircraft manufacturers in the world, as Airfinance Journal's Aerospace Deal of the Year. In this transaction, Embraer sold its entire portfolio of 80 junior secured loans to the French bank Natixis for $193 million. Thomas Healey led the deal, and Timothy Lynes, Reid Mandel, Robert McLaughlin, Seth Messner and Robyn Mandel also made significant contributions. This is the second time the Aviation Practice has won this top industry award. (April 2008)
