Qualifications and Career Profile
Howard S. Jacobs concentrates his practice in corporate and securities law, particularly capital formation transactions. He has supervised and counseled a large variety of both public and private companies in all aspects of their business, issuers and underwriters of debt and equity securities in both public offerings and private financings, leveraged buyout and growth equity funds both in their formation and ongoing representation in their transactions, corporations making strategic investments, purchasers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions, investors in motion picture financing transactions, as well as other corporate and securities matters.
Mr. Jacobs is a member of the Firm's Compensation Committee and Board of Directors.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Jacobs was an attorney with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Division of Trading and Markets.

Mr. Jacobs is a member of the American Bar Association and the Business Law Section of the New York State Bar Association.
Education
Mr. Jacobs earned his undergraduate degree (B.S., 1964) from the University of Vermont and his law degree (J.D., 1967) from The George Washington University Law School.
