Holly Parker focuses her practice on civil litigation matters, including business torts, contractual disputes, real estate, commercial unlawful detainers and general liability defense. Ms. Parker has provided full-service legal representation and counseling for a broad array of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, governmental entities, retail businesses, restaurants, a national property management company, an amusement park, and insurance companies in California. She also has assisted clients with regulatory and compliance matters related to the Americans with Disabilities Act, Cal-OSHA, Proposition 65 and the Department of Agriculture, Weights and Measures.

Prior to joining Katten, Ms. Parker was a litigation associate for Weston Herzog Wenderoff LLP and Manning & Marder, Kass Ellrod Ramirez, Trester LLP. While in law school, Ms. Parker worked for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office as a certified law clerk, and for Warner/Chappell Music, Inc. as an intern. She also externed for the Honorable Valerie Baker in the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Memberships and Affiliations

Ms. Parker serves on the Board of Directors for the Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, Inc. and is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Education and Bar Admissions

Ms. Parker received her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School Los Angeles, in 1998, where she served on the Joseph Scott Moot Court Honors Board and competed as a member of the Traynor Moot Court Team. She also worked as a staff member at Loyola's Conflict Resolution Center. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1993. She is admitted to practice in California and before the United States Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
