About Henry A. Stapp

Henry Stapp guides clients through the execution of complex commercial real estate transactions, including finance and lending, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and distressed loan workouts and restructurings. He uses his broad experience to provide thoughtful, timely and practical advice to achieve his client’s specific goals in a precise and efficient manner.

National practice with a personal focus

A significant portion of Henry's practice is focused on structuring and negotiating commercial mortgage loan transactions for leading commercial banks and private lenders, including originating and modifying syndicated loans, construction loans and loans originated for the commercial mortgage- backed securities (CMBS) market. In addition to real estate finance transactions, he also regularly represents developers and owners of real property with a variety of traditional real estate transactions, including the purchase, sale, development and leasing of commercial properties across the United States. Henry understands that each individual client has unique objectives and concerns, and tailoring his advice to match their concerns is critical to making the transaction a success.

While attending law school, Henry was a merit scholarship recipient and served on the North Carolina Law Review.
