This is the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants largest conference of the year with presentations concerning the latest accounting and reporting issues that affect SEC reporting entities and their auditors.
On
Wednesday, December 7 at 11:10 a.m., Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP Partner Herbert Wander, who is also Co-chair of the SEC's Advisory Committee on Smaller Public Companies, will join panelists Debbie Lambert, Chair of the Task Force that developed the recently published proposed guidance to assist smaller companies in applying the COSO Framework; and Ben Neuhausen, Chair, AICPA Accounting Standards Executive Committee. They will discuss a variety of issues affecting smaller public companies, including potential changes in regulations to be recommended by the SEC's Advisory Committee on Smaller Public Companies, guidance for smaller companies in implementing COSO's internal control framework, and complex accounting issues that frequently affect smaller companies.
