Elizabeth Hermann Smith concentrates her practice in a variety of commercial finance matters.
Ms. Smith is a certified mediator and is a co-chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee in the Young Lawyers Section of the Chicago Bar Association.
Ms. Smith received Bachelor of Arts degrees in art history and history from Yale University in 2003, and a Master of Arts degree in art history from Columbia University in 2006. She received her Juris Doctor degree, summa cum laude, from DePaul University College of Law in 2010, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif. While at DePaul, Ms. Smith was an Associate Editor of the DePaul Law Review, co-president of the Women's Law Caucus, on the student board of the DePaul Health Law Institute and earned the Dean's Certificate of Pro Bono Service. She is admitted to practice in Illinois.
