Efrain R. Miron concentrates his practice in corporate, entertainment and media matters. Mr. Miron advises privately held companies in connection with corporate governance matters, assists in drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements, including principal and ancillary acquisition, financing, licensing and production documentation, and has represented nonprofit entities in connection with formation, governance and dissolution matters. Mr. Miron has assisted in the structuring and execution of international entertainment and media joint venture arrangements, and has provided counsel in the areas of corporate records maintenance and implementation of a document retention policy.
Mr. Miron earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, magna cum laude with departmental honors, from the University of Southern California in 2005, and his Juris Doctor from the UCLA School of Law in 2008. While attending the UCLA School of Law, Mr. Miron was elected to serve three consecutive terms as a representative to the Student Bar Association. Mr. Miron is a member of the American Bar Association, the Sports Lawyers Association and the Latin Business Association. He is admitted to practice in California.
Prior to joining Katten, Mr. Miron was an intern in the legal department of Occidental Petroleum Corporation in Los Angeles, CA.
