Dexter T. Chang concentrates his practice on intellectual property matters, including writing and prosecuting patent applications on a wide variety of inventions and counseling clients on intellectual property issues such as the patentability of inventions, the infringement and validity of U.S. Patents, designing around U.S. Patents, licensing, etc. He is also experienced in handling litigation matters on patent and trademark disputes.
Mr. Chang has a B.S.E./B.S. in Electrical Engineering/Finance and Accounting from the University of Pennsylvania, and a J.D. from Tulane Law School. He is admitted to practice in New York and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He is also registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
