David Matthews concentrates his practice on structured finance and securitization transactions. He regularly represents parties to public and private securitizations across a range of asset classes and has experience with commercial paper conduit asset transactions, warehouse lending transactions and swap documentation.
Education and Bar Admissions
Mr. Matthews graduated from Northwestern University in 2002 and received his master's degree from the University of Florida in 2003. In 2009, he received his Juris Doctor from Northwestern University School of Law, where he was an executive editor of the Journal of International Law & Business and published the comment Ruined in a Conventional Way: Responses to Credit Ratings’ Role in Credit Crises, 29 NW. J. INT’L L. & BUS. 245 (2009). He is admitted to practice in New York.
