Qualifications and Career Profile
David C. Dwyer is an associate in the firm's Real Estate and Financial Services Practices.
He has significant experience representing borrowers, lenders and servicers with regard to CMBS loan originations, assumptions and defeasance transactions, as well as local and regional lenders and developers in matters of acquisition, development and leasing. He also represents banks, hedge funds and other financial institutions in the negotiation of the LSTA documentation framework and with the acquisition and disposition of distressed assets related to secondary loan trading markets.
Education and Bar Admissions
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Dwyer was a partner with Stamey, Foust & Dwyer LLP in Greensboro, North Carolina. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Davidson College in 1996 and his Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2001. He is admitted to practice in North Carolina.
