Company Representatives in the Operating & Treatment Room

The presence of pharmaceutical and medical device representatives in the operating room has become commonplace, and as a result their companies are subject to many more theories of liability. This article discusses the various theories under which companies may incur liability due to a representative's presence in the operating/treatment room, and suggests some best practices for an effective defense.
