Christopher H. Mendoza concentrates his practice in financial services matters.
He recently co-authored "Potential Changes to Futures Customer Agreements: Dodd Frank and Beyond" in the Futures & Derivatives Law Report, September 2011.
Mr. Mendoza earned his Bachelor of Arts in political science, magna cum laude, from Chapman University in 2006. He earned his Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School in 2009, where he was awarded Dean’s List and served as a note editor on the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy. While at Cornell Law School, he was a research assistant for visiting professor Chenguang Wang researching Chinese land-use rights and a teaching assistant for professor Josh Chafetz. In the summer of 2007, Mr Mendoza served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Virginia A. Phillips in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. During law school, he studied abroad at the Universidad de Pompeau Fabra in Barcelona, Spain. He is fluent in Spanish. Mr. Mendoza is admitted to practice in Illinois and California.
