Chris DiAngelo is Co-Head of the Structured Finance and Securitization Practice. His practice centers on financial services/structured finance. With more than 30 years of experience in financial services, Mr. DiAngelo represents a broad range of clients in the industry, including issuers, lenders, underwriters and bond insurers, in a variety of programs and projects, including asset-backed debt, municipal debt, straight corporate debt and equity, warehouse lines, regulatory matters and acquisitions. He is a lead counsel to the American Securitization Forum, and outside counsel to a Washington, D.C. lobbying firm specializing in financial services matters. Mr. DiAngelo has testified before the U.S. House Committee on Financial Services on the issues confronting the commercial real estate market, and frequently appears and provides commentary at industry forums on financial and regulatory matters.

Mr. DiAngelo previously served as co-head of Dewey & LeBoeuf’s Structured Finance Group. Prior to entering private practice, he was on the staff of the New York State Housing Finance Agency, a prominent municipal issuer. He also has been recognized in Chambers USA and Chambers Global as a leader in the field of Capital Markets: Securitization in the United States.

Mr. DiAngelo received his bachelor’s degree from Williams College, his master’s degree from City University of New York, City College, and his law degree from Columbia University Law School. He is admitted to practice in New York.
