CFTC Amends Proposed Rules To Provide Expanded Registration Relief To CPOs And CTAs

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission published in the Federal Register on March 17, 2003, proposed amendments to its rules to expand existing exemptions and to add several new exemptions from registration requirements for Commodity Pool Operators and Commodity Trading Advisors (the "Proposed Rules"), which can be found at 68 Fed. Reg. 12622. Comments on the Proposed Rules must be submitted by May 1, 2003.
