Carol A. Johnston is a partner in the firm's Trusts and Estates Practice. She concentrates her practice in estate and tax planning for individual clients, the representation of fiduciaries, and the administration of estates and trusts. Her experience includes planning and drafting revocable and irrevocable trusts, insurance planning, premarital planning, charitable gift planning, and all aspects of estate administration and probate procedures.

Ms. Johnston has been certified as a specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. In addition, she has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Trusts and Estates (2005-2011) and as a Southern California Super Lawyer in Los Angeles Magazine and Southern California Super Lawyers Magazine (2005-2010). She is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Probate and Trust Law Section.

Ms. Johnston received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Middlebury College (1976) and earned her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School (1979). She is admitted to practice in California.
