Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP attorneys are as dedicated to fulfillment in their personal lives as they are in their business lives. They give back to the communities, organizations and people they value, enriching their personal lives in the process. We’re proud of the efforts of our colleagues and friends.
Community and Personal Fulfillment
Good neighbors make a difference.
Beginning in the 2003-2004 school year, Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP entered into a partnership with Chicago's Philo Carpenter Elementary School, which serves children in Head Start through 8th Grade. Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP attorneys and staff work directly with the students and teachers of Philo in programs designed to improve students' literacy, increase their technology use, and encourage and award academic achievement.
We sponsor other programs that enrich the community and in turn, enrich the lives of attorneys and staff. In Chicago, for example, we have external outreach relationships with the Cristo Rey Work Study Program, Providence St. Mel's Internship Program, Holy Trinity High School, and the Chicago Summer Business Institute. In New York, we work with the New York Public Schools in an internship program called City-As-Schools.
All of our offices hold on-site blood drives, sponsor walk-a-thons, hold book fairs for charity and food drives for local organizations.
Kristin Holland gives "running" a whole new spin. She ran the Honolulu marathon for charity as well as the L.A. Marathon. In her spare time, she bought a horse named “Bob” and studied French with three other Katten Muchin Rosenman attorneys and staff members so she could spend her sabbatical in France.
