Bruce Kosub is Co-Head of the Washington, D.C. Real Estate Practice. Mr. Kosub’s legal practice focuses on joint venture formation, real estate investment and ownership, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial financing transactions. He also has extensive experience in debt restructurings, from both the lender’s and the borrower’s perspectives. Mr. Kosub represents private equity funds, institutional lenders, national real estate companies, and private developers and investors.
Mr. Kosub has given legal education presentations on “Securitized Loans and Conduit Lending: The Borrower’s Perspective,” and has been actively monitoring the development and use of series limited liability companies.
While attending the University of Texas School of Law, Mr. Kosub served as executive editor for Volume 66 of the Texas Law Review and co-authored “The Religious Debtor’s Conviction to Title as the Price of a Chapter 13 Discharge.” Before entering law school, he worked briefly as a real estate tax accountant with an international accounting firm.
