Blake L. Daniels concentrates his practice in complex commercial real estate transactions, emphasizing acquisitions and dispositions, and secured financings, representing developers, private equity firms, commercial banks, and finance companies in connection with development, construction, mezzanine and subordinate financings of various real estate assets throughout the country, including hotel, office, retail, condo, condo-hotel, mixed-use and residential and commercial land. More recently, Mr. Daniels has been involved in loan workouts, restructurings and enforcement proceedings (including foreclosures) on behalf of commercial lenders. His practice also includes negotiating office, hotel and multifamily property management agreements on behalf of property owners. Mr. Daniels additionally litigates sophisticated commercial disputes, concentrating on real estate, insurance and business law matters.
Mr. Daniels earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from American University in 2002 and his Juris Doctor degree from American University Washington College of Law in 2005. He is admitted to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
