Ashley Burden concentrates his practice in securities litigation. Prior to joining Katten, Mr. Burden was a litigation associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Additionally, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Lawrence S. Margolis in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Burden received his Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago in 2002, and his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2005. During law school, Mr. Burden was notes and comments editor of the University of Illinois Law Review and a member of the Frederick Douglass Moot Court Board.
Mr. Burden is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
