Anthony L. Engel is a member of the firm’s Trusts and Estates Practice, where he counsels families, family offices, business owners, executives and other individuals on all aspects of estate and gift planning, charitable planning, estate and trust administration and business succession concerns. Mr. Engel works with clients to design individualized plans that carry out their objectives in a tax-efficient manner. To ensure the proper implementation and administration of these techniques, Mr. Engel often works closely with a client’s team of professional advisors.
Mr. Engel earned his B.S. from Stanford University in 1999, his Ed.M. from Harvard University in 2001, and his J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University in 2007, where he served as Web Editor of the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology. Mr. Engel is admitted to practice in Illinois and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association.
