Anne M. Carpenter concentrates her practice on environmental and white collar law, with an emphasis on civil and criminal environmental enforcement. Prior to entering the field of law, Ms. Carpenter worked as an environmental educator for the New York City Soil and Water Conservation District, where she directed programs for high school and elementary school students in Harlem and across New York's five boroughs.
Ms. Carpenter received her B.A. in English, with a minor in geology, from the College of William & Mary in 2002, and her M.A. in environmental conservation education from New York University in 2004. She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, with a concentration in environmental law, from Pace University School of Law in 2009. While at Pace, Ms. Carpenter was an editor for the Pace Environmental Law Review, a member of the Pace Environmental Litigation Clinic, and served as a research assistant for the Pace Land Use Law Center. She is admitted to practice in New York and the District of Columbia.
