Partner Tom Leanse will speak as a panelist at a webinar on “Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Your Shopping Center: Has it Been 20 Years" at 11:00 a.m. Pacific on Wednesday, July 13. The panel will discuss the legal actions by disabled persons (and applicable governmental agencies) based on the ADA of 1990 (as amended) against shopping centers, as well as other commercial real property owners, retail tenants, financial institutions and entertainment venues that claim an denial for equal access to property, services, the web, or ancillary facilities. Four attorneys, experienced in this area, will discuss the current status of the law and will provide some practical information to assist the property/business owner in avoiding unnecessary litigation.
