Qualifications and Career Profile

Arnold I. Roth represents clients in a wide variety of litigation matters before state and federal courts. These matters include corporate and securities litigation, real estate transactions, trusts and estates matters and civil litigation.

In March 1979, Mr. Roth successfully argued Touche Ross v. Redington and Securities Investors Protection Corporation before the U.S. Supreme Court and was able to obtain a ruling that resulted in making the Firm’s client, as well as other accounting firms, less vulnerable to lawsuits based on the record-keeping provisions there in issue.

Education

Mr. Roth earned his undergraduate degree (B.A., 1951) from Duke University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and his law degree (LL.B., 1954) from Harvard University Law School, where he served as Editor of the Harvard Law Review.
