Scott Morrison, Chair of the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice in the Washington office, was quoted in an article in the Washington Business Journal on lawsuits against Specialty Hospitals of America LLC, the former owner of United Medical Center. Mr. Morrison represents Capital Behavioral Health, which won a $10.1 million judgment against a subsidiary of Specialty Hospitals, and says that he intends to pursue all legal avenues to get the money. "Our belief is that Specialty Hospitals and its affiliates do have the necessary assets to satisfy these judgments, unless they have undertaken attempts to hide those assets," he says. "I don't know, but I'll find out." ("Specialty Hospitals of America hammered by suits," March 4–10, 2011).
