Katten's Los Angeles office sponsored Public Counsel's Eighth Annual Run for Justice, which was held Saturday, March 19, in conjunction with the L.A. Marathon. This is the sixth year in a row that the firm has helped sponsor the Run for Justice, and several members of the Katten team were featured in local television coverage of the event on KTLA.

Public Counsel, the nation's largest pro bono law firm, provides critically needed legal and social services to 30,000 people annually—abused and abandoned children, families living in poverty, homeless veterans, the elderly and hundreds of nonprofit organizations that serve low-income communities. Over the last three and a half decades, Public Counsel has recruited over 300,000 volunteers and delivered over a quarter of a billion dollars in free assistance to those who need it most.
