John S. Paniaguas, a Chicago-based partner in the Firm’s Intellectual Property Practice, was requested by Mathew Bender Publications to write an Expert Commentary on a recent issue in Patent Law. In response to the request, Mr. Paniaguas wrote an article published in LexisNexis’ Patent Law Center on the patentability of tax strategies. The article explored the case of In re Comiskey and how the Court's ruling in that case affects the patentability of business method patents including business method patents on tax strategies.
